Across the nation, Scholarship America's programs -- including Dollars for Scholars -- have given out $2.5 billion to nearly 2 million students since its founding 50 years ago.

In our community, our chapter has made a big impact on the lives of students as well. Since 1990 Crescent graduates have benefited from the collective efforts of the Joyce Communuity Scholarship Foundation. Our efforts have resulted in providing assistance to each graduating senior as they transition into college or technical training beyond high school. In 1998 efforts were taken to seek funds to assist students and student programs within the Crescent School. Beginning January 2014 our chapter joined Scholarships America's Dollars for Scholars with a name change to Joyce Community Dollars for Scholars as we continue efforts to afford improved scholarship opportunities to Crescent High School graduates. We are dedicated in doing a strong job assisting Crescent High graduates transition into college and vocational training. These efforts continue to depend upon an ever broadening level of support from the greater Joyce community area. Please ask us  to learn how you can help!
